Pancoast construction is the best.  We downsized from a large, older home to a small (2 bedroom 1 bath) 100 year old craftsman that needed lots of work.  We added a family room, a bathroom, a bedroom and an ADU that is currently being used as an artist studio.  We did a fairly complete update of the rest of the house.  This included a new kitchen, updated bathroom, all new electrical, plumbing, lighting, and restoration of all of the original wood builtins and floors.  Extra special work was done to preserve the original fruit trees and redo the driveway.  The house feels like new but has maintained its original charm and style.  There were many other small touches too many to mention.  Wick was personally very involved and we got to know and like his crew.  If it weren't for the pandemic, I'd invite anyone interested to come take a look.  Lisa Trujillo was the architect from Jarvis Architects.  She also did a great job.

Wick helped us refurbish our old Berkeley brownshingle with lots of old house issues - no square corners, sloping floors,  a warren of small rooms added haphazardly in the past, squirrel condominiums in the attic and so on. He helped us see what was most important to do.  We ended up with a lovely kitchen, a new family room and bath/laundry and  redone master bath and a new roof and repaired fascia boards and partial reshingling . All the work was beautifully done in keeping with the craftsman style of our house.   In a later project he and his team turned a dirt floored crawl space into a highly functional recreation room with bath and kitchenette.  He guided us through the frustrating process of getting approval from the city  and diplomatically helped us see which of our ideas were feasible. Through all of these projects we were living in the house and greatly appreciated the Pancoast Construction team.  Without exception they were not only competent, efficient and neat but also cheerful and nice to have around.
